Yekjah | The Kashmiri Spirit Thrives on Unity

Sanjeev Kak - 3 instance Uphaar brought various KP organizations together.

Namaskar 🙏

I thank Sanjeev ji for his words and dedication to our community. Our work with various KP organizations represents how the Kashmiri spirit thrives on unity. We've blossomed into a vibrant tapestry, woven with the threads of a strong, engaged community. Having the honor of serving Zone 9, I take immense pride that this collaborative spirit has resulted in the largest membership, with countless members stepping forward to actively contribute.
This dedication fuels initiatives like the Sustenance Program, the Heritage Committee preserving our rich past, Language Classes keeping our mother tongue alive, and the profound exploration of Kashmir Shaivism.

Yet, our strength extends beyond our zone, or even our organization. We reach out, collaborating with organizations like Aalath.com, Avanti Foundation, Shaivite.org, Indo-American Community Federation and the Kashmir Hindu Foundation. Together, our impact resonates on a wider scale. Raising awareness about the Kashmiri Pandit genocide is a shared cause, a battle we fight alongside various Hindu organizations. Recently, this collaborative spirit birthed a new Seattle KOA chapter within Zone 9 that hosted the 2024 West Coast Camp.

My message about collaboration during the KOA Presidential Debate

Our vision for KOA is not about zones or coasts or organizations. As Kashmiri Pandits, we stand united, not just in numbers, but in a spirit of collaboration that empowers and enriches our community.

Orzuv,

Uphaar

The time has come to untie the knots
and weave the strands together,
