Diwali┬аis always a magical time, echoing the traditions recorded in the Nilmata Purana. This year, IтАЩm celebrating┬аDiwali┬аat home with my mother Smt. Nirmala ji, my wife Surabhi and my two daughters Sharanya and Shanaya. We recently had a vibrant┬аDiwali┬аcelebration with extended Bay area KOA family. ItтАЩs always a special experience to connect with our community, share our heritage, and strengthen our bonds.

I strongly believe that┬аit is vitally important to take the strong roots of our Kashmiri heritage, cultivate it in each of our homes, and share the fruits of our traditions with our local communities.

But just as importantly, I envision a future where we, as┬аone nation-wide biradari, can celebrate more of our festivals together.┬аReconnecting with our homeland by strengthening roots right here in the US.
